

Dr. Roland Metzger studied mathematics and ecnomics at the University of Heidelberg. After he finished his degree in mathematics, he worked as a research assistant at the Uiversity of Heidelberg and did a doctorate in economics.
After that, he worked for several years as a management consultant for the Sema Group and Arthur D. Little, as well as being a member of the management board of a subsidiary company of Siemens AG in the graphic arts industry.
In 1995, he founded the online job exchange jobpilot, which went public in 2000 and became the European market leader with a presence in 14 countries. In 2002, Dr. Metzger sold jobpilot to Adecco S.A., the world's largest employment agency, and stayed in top management until 2003. Since then, he acts as entrepreneur and investor. Through RM shareholding management, he is involved with companies in various sectors.
Dr. Metzger was awarded the Online Star and honored by the German association for electronic commerce (Verband der deutschen Internetwirtschaft) for outstanding successes and pioneer work in e-recruiting.
Since 2008, Dr. Roland Metzger is supervisory board chairman of the UNITEDRESPECT AG. “Respect, for me, is a mindset that sees and esteems others as human beings – regardless of their origins, looks, religion, sex or attitudes.
