An ambitious vision and one goal. The formation of the UNITEDRESPECT AG was based on the idea of an initiative to promote respect and tolerance on a national and an international scale. The company has a well-balanced proportion of economic, marketing and entertainment experience, which can realise the company's vision and take a novel approach to initiative.

UNITEDRESPECT: Our name is our policy. UNITEDRESPECT is an international initiative which is committed to more mutual respect – between individuals, between the sexes, nationalities and ethnicities. The best medium for the promotion of mutual respect and understanding is the only truly international language: music. It is against this background that the UNITEDRESPECT initiative organises concerts with international stars of the music scene.
The launch was made with a the concert at the Essen fair on 17 January 2009. On this day, national and international stars and DJs like TIESTO, Armand van Helden, Mötley Crüe-drummer Tommy Lee together with DJ Aero, Felix da Housecat, Lexy & K-Paul, Pate No. 1, Hot Rod (G-Unit & 50 CENT), Dan Rockz and Chris Liebing sent a signal for respect and tolerance. The tickets for the house concert were available at the “respectable” price of 38 Euros plus booking fee.
A special feature of the event series is its international linkage. With the exception of the launch event, the whole project follows the idea that each time two concerts will take place: one in Germany, and another one in a partner country. The first partner country will be Russia. The parallelism of the musical events produces cross-border thinking, which in turn will make for a better understanding between people and nations. This is symbolised by a bridge, which dominates each stage design. This bridge is a constant reminder that right now, at this exact moment, people in another part of Europe are also experiencing music and having fun. Another connecting element will be the music itself. The combination of different musical genres such as house, pop, rock, classical music and jazz provides a basis for cultural bonding. International top acts perform at both venues one after the other and thus unite people, even if there are hundreds of kilometers in between. The other performing artists also stand for the multitude of cultures – so there will be no chart monotony.
UNITEDRESPECT events are no typical fund-raisers. The artists receive a salary, they do not perform for free. All funds going to various relief projects come exclusively from the company's returns. No funds are raised in the form of donations. Another difference: UNITEDRESPECT events put the guests themselves at the centre. They are the receivers, not “benefactors”. They are the agents of respect and they experience the meaning of respect first-hand: for example in the form of the very moderate pricing of concert tickets. But there is much more to the initiative: Its basis is the vision of a social-economic “perpetual motion machine” – in other words: | Social goals are to be reached only by economic means. The UNITEDRESPECT AG is perhaps the first company that was built for purely social motives but markets its products and projects in a traditional way. UNITEDRESPECT's gains by its own efforts serve to support various relief projects on a national and an international scale. As for example UNITEDRESPECT's current event series: Not only is it perfect for the medial distribution of the subject of respect, but it will also obtain first means of a sustainable support system for relief projects.
Initially, relief projects are chosen from the fields of education for socially unprivileged children and adolescents as well as relief for street children. Moreover, the project “TWELVE TIMES HOPE” is supported in cooperation with the international auction house Christie's.
In pursuing these goals, UNITEDRESPECT does not rely on donations, but gains the contributions by its own effort. Therefore, UNITEDRESPECT sees itself as a service provider for clients and partners and thus wants to offer the greatest stars, the biggest and most impressive locations and the most respectable, i.e. the most economically advantageous prices.
In future, the support of relief projects is to be conducted through a separate medium, the UNITEDRESPECT foundation. Here, concrete projects which promote respect among people will be supported. The company UNITEDRESPECT AG will, by means of appropriate events and products, carry the subject of respect into the world, but also constitute the financial basis for the foundation through its economic returns.
Beyond that, a network of specialists from various fields stands behind the initiative. This network is the real basis for the successful realisation of UNITEDRESPECT's large-scale events. Large parts of this network comprising individual volunteers, agencies, event planners, tour organisations etc. do without economic gains to a large extent – this, too, is a conscious sign of lived out respect. |
